What Is the F.U.L.L. C.O.U.R.T. Progress Fund?

More Than a Game. It’s a Launchpad!

The F.U.L.L. C.O.U.R.T. Progress Fund is a donor-driven initiative of the Macon Progress Foundation, established to provide direct financial assistance to youth participating in our basketball and leadership programs, particularly those from underserved and underrepresented communities.

Through this fund, we are able to support critical areas such as:

  • Travel and lodging for tournaments and showcases

  • Uniforms, footwear, and essential training gear

  • Meals and wellness support during events

  • Exposure to college recruitment opportunities

  • Academic enrichment and mentorship resources

  • Facility rentals for practices and events

  • Expanded year-round programming

  • Community service and outreach initiatives

Your contribution helps us break down barriers, create access, and open doors to life-changing opportunities for the next generation.

What is Team Progress?

Team Progress is a youth basketball program under the Macon Progress umbrella, designed to develop student-athletes through elite training, mentorship, and meaningful competition. Our mission is to use basketball as a vehicle for growth—on the court, in the classroom, and in life.

We offer a tiered team structure to serve athletes at every stage:

  • Developmental Teams: Local, year-round teams for 2nd–5th grade players focused on skill-building and basketball fundamentals.

  • Competitive Teams: For 3rd–11th grade players ready for regional challenges, structured training, and a higher level of competition.

  • Travel Teams:

    • Regional Teams (Independent): High school players competing in elite West Coast events like MADE Hoops, HoopSource, etc.

    • National Teams (Nike EYBL): Our top 15U–17U teams compete on Nike’s prestigious EYBL circuit to reach Peach Jam.

Team Progress emphasizes academic accountability (minimum 2.5 GPA), character development, and community impact. Every player is expected to uphold our code of ethics and participate in outreach initiatives throughout the year. Through the F.U.L.L. C.O.U.R.T. Progress Fund, we provide financial support to help cover travel, training, uniforms, scholarships, and facilities, ensuring that talent is never limited by access.

Why This Matters

We’re Not Just Coaching the Game — We’re Coaching for Life.

At Macon Progress Foundation, we believe in the power of sports to shape strong, focused, empowered young people. We’ve seen how a simple opportunity — to travel, to train, to be seen — can change a life path. Whether it’s college access, life skills, or mentorship, the F.U.L.L. C.O.U.R.T. Progress Fund helps us build the kind of legacy that lasts far beyond the final buzzer.

Impact in Action

Your Gift Builds More Than Athletes, It Builds Leaders.

"I started playing for Team Progress when I was a freshman in high school and played with them all the way through my senior year. I experienced so much growth as a basketball player and as a young man during those 4 years and I'm forever grateful. The program was challenging and definitely not easy, but it prepared me extremely well for college. Ty was a great mentor for me through the recruitment process, and I wouldn't be a college basketball player without the guidance he and the other coaches gave me through the years. Definitely one of the best programs in Oregon for creating college players."

~ Jett Birdsall - Pacific University '29

"I came to Team Progress the summer going into my junior year, and it’s been family ever since. Real coaching from every coach on the staff, and every day at practice, was a real grind on the court and strength-wise. Not only did he (Coach Ty) help me on the court, but he also helped me off the court, finding scholarships and opportunities to receive more financial aid for college, which was huge! Even now that I’m out of the program, every time I come home from my prep, I still get in the gym with Coach Ty, and he is still helping me navigate through my journey.  Truly one of the best programs in the state."
